Day Calendar

Join our Children's Librarians for Storytime at the Mokena Library. We look forward to seeing you there! We will read a story or two, and we will sing and dance. Afterwards, there will be time for each child to make a craft based on the theme of our stories.  

This storytime is designed for children 3 - 5 years old, but younger siblings are welcome to attend along with their families. We will have a tot spot for younger children to play quietly during the program. Craft and activity materials may be reserved for registered children ages 3-5. Please, only register children 3 - 5 years old. 

Registration is required.

Limit: 15 children

Join us for our new "My First Book Club" for children grades Kindergarten - 2nd. Each month we will read a different book from the Monarch Award list. We will read this month's picture book all together at the start of the program. We will then answer questions and discuss the book as a group. We will have a craft and/or activity to do that goes along with the theme of the story we read together. We will have time for a snack as well. 

Registration is required.
