Pajama Storytime will be every second Tuesday evening of the month, where our Children’s Librarians will read a few stories centered around a new theme each month. We will also do a fun activity/craft and watch a short video while having a snack. Bring the whole family for a fun evening Storytime! Come dressed in your pajamas and bring your stuffed animal friends, if you would like.

Registration is required.

Limit: 30 children 

Ages: Infant - 5th grade.

Please register each child's name only.

This month's Pajama Storytime theme is All Things Halloween! Come in your Halloween pajamas or wear your costume, if you have it ready. Join us for fun and interactive Halloween-themed books and songs! We'll have fun Halloween activities for the kids, and we can do a parade around the library in our costumes and PJs.

Attendance Policy for Children's Programs

We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
