Welcome to Mokena Community Public Library's Walking Book Club! We will meet at The Oaks for the walk and the talk. We will be walking for 30 minutes and discuss the book afterwards for 30 minutes.

You can pick up a copy of the book at the customer service desk. We will meet weekly and discuss a part of the book each meeting.  The book for March will be Demon Copperhead By: Barbara Kingsolver

Here is the schedule of chapters per week for this book:

Week 1 3/4/24 : Chapters 1-16

Week 2 3/11/24 : Chapters 17-32

Week 3 3/18/24 : Chapters 33-48

Week 4 3/25/24 : Chapters 49-64 
 

Please note that Mokena residents are free to enter The Oaks for the walking track, but non-residents will need to pay $3.00 per visit to use the track with us.
