Event Details
Plant a variety of seeds and watch them sprout in this Root Viewer Kit! Choose which seeds your garden will grown first. Keep track of how the roots and plants grow every week. The transparent planter makes it easy to see your plants' progress until harvest time! Enjoy your homegrown snacks! Each kit contains everything you need to plant and care for your garden
Pick up your kit at the Children's Customer Service Desk between 1pm on Wed. July 15th and 5pm Sat. July 18th. After Sat. July 18th, your registration will be cancelled and we will contact the next patron on the waiting list. Please be sure to pick up your kit in the time frame allocated. Thank you for your cooperation.
Registration is required.
Limit: 30 children
Grades: Kindergarten - 5th grade.
Please register each child's name only.

Mokena Community Public Library District Card Holder - Priority Registration
Priority registration is available exclusively to Mokena library cardholders ensuring that Mokena library cardholders receive the first opportunity to explore and participate in our limited room programs. This is a new procedure for our high demand programs. Non-Mokena Community Public Library District Holders will be placed on a pending wait list until 72 hours prior to the program. If there are openings at that time the wait list will be transferred to the registered list in the order they were added to the wait list.
