Children's Scavenger Hunt - Polar Explorers Winter Reading Program 2025 Kickoff

Stop by the Mokena Library to do this month's Scavenger Hunt! This month's theme is Polar Explorers, to kick off the Winter Read Program! Remember to register on Beanstack to participate in the reading challenge! Completed the scavenger hunt is during Week 1 earns you additional raffle tickets in Beanstack. 

Search for hidden pictures of different polar animal friends throughout the library. There are five pictures hidden upstairs and five pictures hidden downstairs. Stop by the Customer Service Desk, upstairs or downstairs, to do the Scavenger Hunt. Once you've found all ten pictures, don't forget to stop by the desk again to hand in your sheet to receive a fun winter-themed prize. Happy hunting!

As an added bonus, be sure to stop by the library desk to fill out a physical raffle ticket once you've completed the Scavenger Hunt to enter to win one of two winter baking hobbies raffle prizes. The first prize bundle is a Kids Baking Bundle, including a Baking Kit with 44 pieces & a recipe book, "The Complete Baking Book for Young Chefs." The second prize bundle is a Hot Cocoa Bomb Bundle, including a DIY Hot Cocoa Bomb Making Kit & several pre-made hot cocoa bombs in various flavors (regular milk chocolate, double chocolate, peppermint chocolate and salt-caramel chocolate). The winners of the raffle prizes will be notified on Monday, January 13th.
