Join our Children's Librarians for Baby Storytime at the Mokena Library. Come bond with your baby and other families at the library! We will have stations for you to enjoy child-directed play including various board books, sensory play, and art. Our Children's Librarians will also lead us in some stories and music to introduce our littles to Storytime at the library. We look forward to seeing you there! This storytime is designed for children birth - 2 years old, but older siblings are welcome to attend along with their families. Older children should be mindful and make space for little ones during the program. Please, only register children birth - 2 years old. Registration is required. Limit: 15 children Ages: Birth - 2 years old Please register each child's name only. Each Finger Painting, we will have a new theme to guide our painting time together. We will provide all of the painting materials and a disposable smock for each child. Each week we will create an arts and crafts project, exploring different sensory techniques, like finger painting, water colors, shaving cream, play dough, salt painting, marble painting, etc. Session #1 10:00am - 10:15am Session #2 10:30am - 10:45am Registration is required. Pajama Storytime will be every second Tuesday evening of the month, where our Children’s Librarians will read a few stories centered around a new theme each month. We will also do a fun activity/craft and watch a short video while having a snack. Bring the whole family for a fun evening Storytime! We will provide each child with a snack and drink during this fun after school program. If your child has any food allergies, please provide that information into the text box while registering for the program. We want to accommodate everyone and will have a healthy alternative snack for them.
