Embark on a toy-tastic adventure at our Toy Story-themed Craft Event! Join us as we journey to infinity and beyond with as we read a Toy Story book or two that will delight kids of all ages.
We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.

Get ready for an out-of-this-world tabletop role-playing game experience with “Everyone Is John.” Participants become tiny alien Pilots, each maneuvering for control over a human-sized mech named John.
Join us for our new Monarch Book Club for children grades Kindergarten - 2nd. Each month we will read a different Monarch Award nominated from the 2024 list. We will read this month's picture book all together at the start of the program. We will then answer questions and discuss the book as a group. We will then have a craft and/or activity to do that goes along with the theme of the story we read together. We will have time for a snack as well.
