Join our Children's Librarians, Ms. Emily and Ms. Helen, for Storytime at the Mokena Library. We look forward to seeing you there! We will read a story or two. We will sing and dance in-between our stories. Afterwards, there will be time for each child to make a craft based on the theme of our stories.  

Registration is required.

Limit: 30 children

Each month we will read a different Bluestem Award nominated from the 2024 list.  Copies of the book will be available at the Customer Service desk for the book discussion; please pick yours up and read the book before the meeting date. Join us as we start a new book club for 3rd grade+ at Mokena Library!

Mokena Community Public Library District Card Holder - Priority Registration

Priority registration is available exclusively to Mokena library cardholders 72 hours before the scheduled program ensuring that Mokena library cardholders receive the first opportunity to explore and participate in our limited room programs. This is a new procedure for our high demand programs. Non-Mokena Community Public Library District Holders will be placed on a pending wait list until 72 hours prior to the program. If there are openings at that time the wait list will be transferred to the registered list in the order they were added to the wait list.
