Have you ever wanted to try to grow garlic? From mid September through October is the ideal time to plant garlic. Now you can have the opportunity to expand your gardening skills.
Be sure to register to receive your own garlic bulbs to plant in your garden this fall for a late spring/early summer crop. Each take and plant kit includes two bulbs and a how to plant guide. Each bulb may contain as many as 7-10 cloves.
Please be aware patrons will be notified when the bulb shipment arrives and kits are available for pickup. As of now the ETA is the end of September to Mid October.

Mokena Community Public Library District Card Holder - Priority Registration
Priority registration is available exclusively to Mokena library cardholders 72 hours before the scheduled program ensuring that Mokena library cardholders receive the first opportunity to explore and participate in our limited room programs. This is a new procedure for our high demand programs. Non-Mokena Community Public Library District Holders will be placed on a pending wait list until 72 hours prior to the program. If there are openings at that time the wait list will be transferred to the registered list in the order they were added to the wait list.
