Solar Energy at Home:
Join Will County’s Senior Energy and Conservation Specialist to learn about the environmental and financial benefits of residential solar power. Discuss ideal home characteristics, incentive program availability, questions to ask prospective contractors, and other strategies to evaluate whether solar can help you lower your carbon footprint and reduce long-term energy costs.
This program will be held in our Program Room located downstairs near the Children's Department. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing programs@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through our Events calendar. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
