Celebrate National Library Week this April! 

Here's your chance to review a book! During the “Read & Review” Adult Book Bag Program you will pick out the book(s) you want to read and then submit a review for a chance to win a prize! Just for registering you will receive a bag containing the forms you need to submit your review, special treats, and a gift book for you to keep. So, line up your to-be-read list and get ready to pen your review!

  • Please register for only one book bag between January and April 2025. This is to give as many patrons as possible the opportunity to join in the fun! Thank you!
  • You must be a Mokena Community Library cardholder to register for this program. Thank you for your understanding.

Pickup for the book bags will be April 1-7. You will receive an email with a reminder prior to the pick up date.

Program Attendance Policy

Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 24 hours before the program begins, by emailing programs@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through our Events calendar. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
