Please welcome our friends, T-Rexplorers, to the Mokena Library! They have an exciting program planned.
Come out and see authentic dinosaur fossils, hear stories from our digs and see some of our latest finds! We will stay up to 30 minutes after the program end time so you can come up and take pictures or see anything you weren't able to during the program. Hope to see you there!
The target audience for this presentation is Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Our younger friends are welcome to come with siblings or if you think they will enjoy the performance. Every participant will need to be registered.
Registration is required.
Limit: 50 children
Ages: Infant - 5th grade.
Please register each child's name only.

Attendance Policy for Children's Programs
We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokenalibrary.org or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
Mokena Community Public Library District Card Holder - Priority Registration
Priority registration is available exclusively to Mokena library cardholders ensuring that Mokena library cardholders receive the first opportunity to explore and participate in our limited room programs. This is a new procedure for our high demand programs. Non-Mokena Community Public Library District Holders will be placed on a pending wait list until 72 hours prior to the program. If there are openings at that time the wait list will be transferred to the registered list in the order they were added to the wait list.
Outdoor Program Disclaimer
Plan to be outside for the program you're registering for. We will do the program rain or shine. The program may be moved indoors to our downstairs Program Room. We will watch the weather for any chances of severe weather conditions, if that is the case, you will be notified of cancellation or a rain date rescheduling of this program.
Dress appropriately for outdoor programs. Please bring your sunscreen. We will have water bottles available as well.
