Get ready for a glow-tastic night at the library! Kids in grades 3rd–5th (no exceptions) are invited to join us for an exciting after-hours Glow in the Dark Mini Golf event featuring 9 glowing mini golf holes to play through with friends or in small groups. We’ll have snacks and drinks to enjoy along the way, and all putters and materials will be provided — just bring your energy and get ready to glow!

Important Information for Parents/Guardians:

  • Registration is required and Mokena Public Library Card Holder Priority.
  • This program is strictly for grades 3rd–5th only — no exceptions.
  • Please arrive by 4:45pm for check-in before the library closes at 5:00pm. This is an after-hours event.
  • The program ends promptly at 7:00pm, and all participants must be picked up by 7:15pm.
  • Children over age 8 may be dropped off for the event.
  • Each child must have an individual waiver completed by Friday, March 6th at 6:00pm. Waivers can be found on the calendar event or completed at the Mokena Library Customer Service Desk.
  • If your child can no longer attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so another child can participate. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a $25 fee per child registered.

Attendance Policy for Children's Programs

We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokenalibrary.org or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.

Mokena Community Public Library District Card Holder - Priority Registration

Priority registration is available exclusively to Mokena library cardholders ensuring that Mokena library cardholders receive the first opportunity to explore and participate in our limited room programs. This is a new procedure for our high demand programs. Non-Mokena Community Public Library District Holders will be placed on a pending wait list until 72 hours prior to the program. If there are openings at that time the wait list will be transferred to the registered list in the order they were added to the wait list.

Snacks Provided during Children's Programs

We will provide each child with a snack and drink during this fun after school program. If your child has any food allergies, please provide that information into the text box while registering for the program. We want to accommodate everyone and will have a healthy alternative snack for them. 

Waiver Required

This program will require a signed waiver to participate.
