Event Details
Join us for a fun movie night at the Mokena Library! The movie showing will be in the Program Room, located downstairs, near the Children's Department. We will be serving pizza and drinks for patrons to enjoy while watching the movie. Pizza will be served at 6pm, the movie will start promptly at 6:30pm. We will serve popcorn and drinks during the movie. At the end of the night, we will raffle the movie off for one lucky winner! Please register each child attending. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Nightmare Before Christmas 1993 Film PG (Movie Description):
The film follows the misadventures of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown's beloved pumpkin king, who has become bored with the same annual routine of frightening people in the "real world." When Jack accidentally stumbles on Christmastown, all bright colors and warm spirits, he gets a new lease on life -- he plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role. But Jack soon discovers even the best-laid plans of mice and skeleton men can go seriously awry.

Attendance Policy for Children's Programs
We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
Snacks Provided during Children's Programs
We will provide each child with a snack and drink during this fun after school program. If your child has any food allergies, please provide that information into the text box while registering for the program. We want to accommodate everyone and will have a healthy alternative snack for them.
