Event Details

With her talent, charm, and illuminating sense of humor, comedian, actress, and singer Carol Burnett grabbed ahold of audiences everywhere in the 1960’s and still continues to today.

Carol Burnett, portrayed by historical presenter, Michelle Gibbons, will light up the room with smiles and laughter as she discusses her most famous movie and television roles as Miss Hannigan in Annie and Eunice Higgins in Mama’s Family. Carol will explain how she became one of the first women to host her own comedy show, The Carol Burnett Show, which aired on CBS for over 11 years. Carol will also discuss her major success in 1959 in the Broadway production, Once Upon a Mattress, in which she was nominated for a Tony Award.
