Program Description
Event Details
This sewing workshop includes deconstruction, assembly and sewing of the apron using a dress or denim shirt (L, XL, XXL all cotton or denim preferred). We will also create a pocket to hold handy cooking items. The apron is then complete with the addition of lace where appropriate, a wooden honey spoon, hanky and charm on a bulb pin.
Patrons can choose to supply a specific shirt or use the library provided options. Please indicate choice at registration.
No sewing experience required.

Priority registration is available exclusively to Mokena library cardholders ensuring that Mokena library cardholders receive the first opportunity to explore and participate in our limited room programs. This is a new procedure for our high demand programs. Non-Mokena Community Public Library District Holders will be placed on a pending wait list until 72 hours prior to the program. If there are openings at that time the wait list will be transferred to the registered list in the order they were added to the wait list.
