Program Description

Event Details

Join us for this hands-on program where you'll be able to customize a printed image with paint to make a fun art-piece. Participants will start with an eclectic bookshelf image as their canvas. Using special transparent paints, you'll add your own flair to the bookshelf design and create a painted background on a smooth 12" x 12" wooden square.

While we’ll provide everything you need, including paints, brushes, wooden sheets, and transfer solutions. The final step of transferring your masterpiece onto wood requires time to cure, so participants will take their project home to let the
transfer solution set overnight (roughly 6 hours). When the solution has fully dried, you can complete the final process. Don’t worry though as you’ll have plenty of time at the library to work on your artwork and get your background ready.
