Jr. High: Light-Up Mason Jar Wind Chime

Participants will design mesmerizing wind chimes that glow beautifully in the dark and create a soft, melodic sound. We will start with a mason jar equipped with a special lid that lights up automatically as the environment darkens and recharges in sunlight. You'll fill the jar with glow-in-the-dark material, giving it a magical radiance that lasts through the night. Then, we'll craft a wire cradle to house your jar and attach unique, colorful glass beads that gently clack together, creating a soothing sound instead of the traditional resonating chime noise.
