Slime! Slime! Slime! Join us outdoors on our lawn area at the Mokena Library for a fun DIY Fluffy Slime Making Program. We will provide all of the materials and an air-tight container for you to create your slime in and take it home with you. Please come prepared to get messy. We will also provide plastic gloves and disposable smocks. You will follow a recipe and practice your measuring skills, after you will have created your very own slime creation to play with.
We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
Plan to be outside for the program you're registering for. We will do the program rain or shine. The program may be moved indoors to our downstairs Program Room. We will watch the weather for any chances of severe weather conditions, if that is the case, you will be notified of cancellation or a rain date rescheduling of this program.
Dress appropriately for outdoor programs. Please bring your sunscreen. We will have water bottles available as well.

Grades: K - 5th grade
