Cozy mystery lovers rejoice! 

Curl up with a good mystery book this January with the “Get Cozy” Adult Book Bag Program. Register now so you can pick up your bag in January. The bag will contain a cozy mystery or two, special treats, and a gift book for you to keep. January is the perfect time to discover your new favorite Cozy!

Please note: During the registration process you will be asked to list any cozy mystery series you have already read.

  • Please register for only ONE book bag between January and April 2025. This is to give as many patrons as possible the opportunity to join in the fun! Thank you!
  • You must be a Mokena Community Library cardholder to register for this program. Thank you for your understanding.

Pickup for the book bags will be January 14-20. You will receive an email with a reminder prior to the pick up date.

Program Attendance Policy

Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing programs@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through our Events calendar. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
