Did you visit our Seed Library this spring? Well, we want to see your hard work. Submit a picture of your garden from this summer. You could try snapping a pic of your vegetable garden, landscaping, flower beds or even planters. We love to see what you've been up to and share it with the community. The winner of the Garden Photo Contest will receive a $50 Alsip gift card.
How does it work? From August 1st through the 20th, submissions will be accepted. We ask for you to register for the event. Then email your contest picture to eplastiak@mokena.lib.il.us. Be sure to include in the email your name, contact information and a brief description of the picture. Once received, we will print your picture and display it by the Seed Library. We can only accept one submission per registered patron, so be sure of your selection. Once we close the picture submissions (August 20th @ 8pm), we'll then ask our patrons to vote for their favorite. Judging opens August 21st through the 31st.
Winner will be announced and contacted after Labor Day, September 3rd. Good Luck!
