Does your child love all things Barbie? If so, we've got the event for you! Join us as we celebrate National Barbie Day in style! We will have fun games like Barbie BINGO, Pin the Bow on Barbie, and fun Photo Booth opportunities to capture the moment. We will enjoy tea party refreshments, including lemonade and cupcakes. 

Over the years, Barbie has had many jobs. She has been a teacher, a gymnast, a pilot, a doctor and a police officer to name a few. She is a great role model to young girls that they can aspire to be anything and do anything they set their minds to. She has continued to inspire girls for 65 years. Come dressed in your favorite Barbie-inspired outfit. Don't forget to dress your Barbie (or Ken) doll for the occasion as well. You and your doll will be able to enjoy the event together. We hope you have some fun and learn a little bit about the history of Barbie along the way! 

This program is for all children, girl or boy, ages 3-11 years old. 

Registration is required. 

Limit: 24 children. No exceptions. 

Please register the child's name only.

Attendance Policy for Children's Programs

We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
