As we race towards the beginning of National Library Week, come join us at the Mokena Library for a Hot Wheels themed race car party. If you love all things cars and trucks, this is the event for you. We will have a fun balloon photo backdrop. We will have Hot Wheels race car tracks to test your need for speed. We will also have other fun games and activities like Pin the Wheel on the Car. We will also have a fun DIY cardboard tube race car craft available for you to make here or take home for later. We will also have snacks and beverages for you to enjoy as well. While you're here, check out some of our fun book displays. Ready, Set, Read!
This program is for all children, girl or boy, ages 3-11 years old.
Registration is required.
Limit: 24 children

We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
