Get ready for a wild adventure at the Mokena Library! Join us in the Program Room for a DIY Stuffed Animal Workshop where you’ll create your very own cuddly leopard friend. Let your imagination run wild as you bring your new buddy to life! Each kit comes with everything you need: soft fiberfill stuffing, a magical rainbow wish star, an official birth certificate to name your new friend, and a buddy bag for easy travels. Don’t miss this paws-itively fun event—your new leopard friend is waiting to meet you!
Registration is required.
Limit: 30 children
Ages: 3 - 11 years old (Age 11 must be in 5th grade)
Please register each child's name only. No exceptions.

Attendance Policy for Children's Programs
We highly recommend registering with an email address. This is the only way you will get a confirmation email, be able to cancel and receive any updates, including cancellation of the program. Please arrive on time for the program. If you are unable to attend the program, please cancel at least 2 hours before the program begins, by emailing youthservices@mokena.lib.il.us or calling the Mokena Library at 708-479-9663 and canceling with a librarian. You can also cancel through your confirmation email. After 3 times of being marked absent without cancellation notice, we will be moving future registrations to the waitlist for two weeks. This is to accommodate as many patrons as possible due to limited space and popularity of our programs.
Mokena Community Public Library District Card Holder - Priority Registration
Priority registration is available exclusively to Mokena library cardholders 72 hours before the scheduled program ensuring that Mokena library cardholders receive the first opportunity to explore and participate in our limited room programs. This is a new procedure for our high demand programs. Non-Mokena Community Public Library District Holders will be placed on a pending wait list until 72 hours prior to the program. If there are openings at that time the wait list will be transferred to the registered list in the order they were added to the wait list.
