Calling all Pokémon enthusiasts! Get ready for a thrilling Pokémon TCG Build & Battle Tournament. Here's what you need to know:

What Is This Program About: This program is geared toward participants who already have knowledge of how to play the game and build a deck. Participants will use Pokémon cards provided by the library to build a 60-card deck for a subsequent tournament. 

Staff Assistance: While staff will be available to answer questions and offer suggestions, they will not be able to sit down and help everyone build their entire deck and strategy.

Keep Your Deck: Each participant will be able to keep the deck they build and will receive sleeves for their deck to take home.

Tournament Rules: We'll go over the details of the rules at the start of the program. What we can say now is that there will be three 50-minute rounds with 10-minute breaks after each round for bathroom breaks, snacks, and stretching.

Schedule:

• 5:00pm - 5:30pm: Dinner and snacks (we'll have Dominos pizza!)
• 5:30pm - 6:50pm: Deck building
• 7:00pm - 10:00pm: Tournament

Prizes: There will be 36 booster packs that will be divvied up amongst the point leaders. 

After Hours: Please note that this is an after-hours program ending at 10pm. Each participant will need to fill out and turn in a waiver before the program begins. A link is provided on this page to download and print a waiver. If you cannot do so, please stop by the library to grab a waiver.
