John's focus is on award-winning films and outstanding performances that Americans turned to during the 1960s, but also later films that paid tribute to a difficult decade in America. Having grown up in the 1960s on Chicago’s South Side, film history buff John LeGear developed a knack for recognizing what Americans sought to find at movie houses to get away from it all.
